We created a world class platform for a new breed of Formula one team with Aston Martin. The website experience galvanised and shaped a new more inclusive F1 fanbase, building a community that paved the way for other brands to follow. The experience needed to hold multiple different content types from live race data to product launches that would evolve over time.

We helped the Starbucks EMEA create a cross functional team covering Data, CX, Marketing & Technology. We unified their exisiting customer insight and created a customer research framework to gather customer needs from their customers. Our research identified 94 customer pain points and 91 customer opportunities that would enhance the instore experience using the app. Leveraging UX & UI best practice we have delivered wireframes and design assets to our these updates to be brought to life.

A Recipe for Success

One of the UK’s largest supermarket chain, Sainsbury’s, have been dedicated to helping their customers live well for less since 1869. However, research showed that customers’ perception of their food's quality did not match their stellar heritage. To change this they partnered with ekino to create the UK’s number one online food network, building a community designed around the emotional and practical needs of consumers. Sainsbury’s recipes receives millions of unique users every quarter and has continued to steadily grow, adding users, functionality and recipes month after month. Additionally, with continuing optimisation and personalisation, the average single order value generated through the site has neared the equivalent to the average shop at Sainsbury's.
