At its core, the Open University has always been about offering distance learning solutions, to real people, living real lives - and as a cultural institution in its own right - they place a special emphasis on this in their image. In a partnership with Sky we produced a suite of four television commercials to drive enrolment and show the credibility of Open University qualifications. We sought out and told the stories of real students who all went on to land jobs with Sky, clearly demonstrating the power of the Open University to change real lives.
In the breathtaking landscape and unforgiving terrain of Iceland, we helped Huawei set a challenge for three of the world’s top drone racers and the Huawei Mate 10.Putting the phone in the hands of people who demand the best in technology, allowed us to showcase the key features in a natural way. Using a documentary style but with a dynamic approach, we told a story that showed off the best the phone had to offer. And we only lost one drone along the way…
The 200,000 passengers that use Heathrow every day know that flying is a major cause of climate change, yet airports continue to shy away from the conversation. Havas London wanted to use an elephant as the embodiment of the problem, to show how Heathrow is taking responsibility and confronting it head on. Our CGI & retouching team created ‘Ellie’ from scratch, a majestic CGI elephant fronting a new campaign - It’s time to talk about the elephant in the room.
We love working on projects that matter, especially integrated campaigns involving each of our disciplines. With the department for education on the hunt for the next generation of teachers, we supported the campaign with a suite of content to seek them out. From social films and animations to OOH, banners, press, ECRM and event materials. We made sure that the message was heard.
