Formula 1 needed to modernise its image in order to attract new audiences to the sport. Taking the opportunity presented by the long-awaited return of Aston Martin to the tracks, the brand team commissioned Havas Studios to create a striking launch film, supported by an interactive fan platform, I/AM. Working in partnership with Havas Helia, the team delivered creative concepts, production and final content in just three weeks. Following the success of the campaign, Aston Martin I/AM was shortlisted for a British Arrows Award for emerging talent in sound design.
Working with award-winning Animation Director, Francesca de Bassa, we helped French students returning to school after summer embrace their creativity and stand out from the crowd. The combination of a live-action shoot, illustration, 2D animation and perfectly pastel colour palette, resulted in a film steeped in Parisian Hip Hop nostalgia that shows every student is creative, no matter what they study.
We don’t only do the big budget stuff. Need some quick-fire social content? We got you. Part of Havas London’s new campaign for the Open University aired on the TikTok TopView - a new space for the client - offering an immersive viewing experience with no other competing content. Led by an entirely internal Studios team, and shot on an iPhone in a green screen studio in a way that allowed the client to see exactly how each scene would look as we filmed. A flexible approach resulted in a happy, confident client, led by a lean team and budget.
